💜🪻🩷🎒✨ BACK TO SCHOOL AT JORDEN ELEMENTARY! ✨🎒🩵🌸💜
Today, we had the pleasure of once again joining families and students at Jorden Elementary in the Rogers Park community for their annual Back-to-School Event!
💜✨ This year was extra special because it marks our THIRD YEAR being part of this wonderful event! We are so grateful to continue being welcomed back year after year. 🪻🩷
🌸🎡 Our Kids Kindness Wheel was a HIT with the children, and our FREE T-shirt giveaway was an even BIGGER hit! 👕💜✨
Along with all the Back-to-School fun, we also provided families with important Domestic Violence Awareness & Safety information, including:
💜 Emergency Orders of Protection — helping families understand where they can turn when immediate protection is needed.
🪻🏠 Domestic Violence Safe House Shelters vs. Regular Shelters — educating families about the difference and the importance of confidential, specialized safe housing for survivors fleeing domestic violence.
At Helen & Joe Community Organization, our community work goes beyond giveaways. 💜 It is also about education, prevention, safety, kindness, and connecting families with resources when they need them most.
