Sana Healing Collective Sana Healing Collective is a non-profit committed to individualized, client-led approaches promoting the well-being of the whole person and community.

At Sana Healing Collective we embrace an ecological understanding of humans, recognizing that mind is inseparable from the body, and people live in the context of their relationships, environment, community, and culture. We aim to realize and integrate Sana, or healing, through a multidisciplinary approach incorporating cutting-edge innovation in mental health, bodywork, group, art, community, and

environmental programs. We also recognize time-tested wisdom cultivated over millennia, and strive to weave this knowledge into our work at all levels. We are committed to individualized, client-led approaches that promote the wellbeing of the whole person, their community, and our environment.

🎨Open Studio on Sunday, June 28th & July 26th!🎨

Join us at the next monthly Open Studio for Psychedelic Integration. Rooted in accessibility and community care, the studio nurtures personal expression, collective healing, and the transformative power of creativity as medicine.

OUR NEXT SESSION IS SUNDAY, June 28th, FROM 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

These drop-in events allow participants to engage in self-directed artmaking while receiving support from a board-certified art therapist with decades of experience. The open studio model offers flexibility for participants to work at their own pace while fostering a sense of shared community among those exploring psychedelics as a healing modality. By creating consistent spaces for integration, these events help reduce isolation and reinforce the importance of collective healing.

🤩Yoga Thursdays with Jean!🤩

Join us at Sana Healing Collective on (most) Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:00 PM for a gentle, beginner-friendly yoga practice open to all experience levels. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat, this class is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your breath, and find presence in both body and mind.

All bodies are welcome. We honor the uniqueness of each person’s experience and invite you to come exactly as you are.

Upcoming Dates:
June 4th, 11th, 25th; July 2nd & 9th

These classes are led by Jean Edrada (300hr+ RYT), who has been teaching for over 11 years throughout Chicagoland and beyond. Jean believes that we are each our own best teacher — that within us lives an innate wisdom that guides our healing. Her classes invite you to listen inward, cultivate awareness, and nurture both strength and softness. Although her sequences can be physically engaging, she brings a light-hearted, playful approach, using inclusive and invitational language so that everyone feels safe and empowered in their own practice.

Bio:

Gabrielle (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in Health Psychology. She has provided individual and group therapy in a wide range of settings including long-term care communities, a community mental health center for those impacted by a cancer diagnosis, a Ketamine-infusion clinic, and private practice. Her clinical interests include psychedelic-assisted therapies, life adjustments/transitions, stress reduction, living with cancer or chronic illness, caregiver support, grief/loss, aging, end-of-life issues, and meaning in life. Gabrielle completed the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy training program as well as the Alchemy Community Therapy Center’s Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Training. She also served as a volunteer for the Fireside Project hotline supporting individuals in the midst of a psychedelic experience or those who wanted support with integration. Gabrielle approaches her work from a collaborative, humanistic/existential and person-centered lens. She sees herself as a companion walking alongside her clients on their life path — not to direct the journey, but to help them uncover their inner strengths and sense of purpose, and to support them in bringing those strengths into their daily lives so they can move forward with greater intention and meaning.

💜💛Welcome to Sana, Mesphina!💚🩷

We’re so happy to welcome Mesphina to Sana Healing Collective! They bring deep curiosity, skill, and compassion to their work—and we’re thrilled to have them in community with us as one of our therapists.

Mesphina is now accepting new KAP clients. If you’ve been looking for support on your healing journey, this could be the perfect time to reach out. Check out our bio or sanahealingcollective.org/services for more info and to submit an inquiry form!

Bio:
Mesphina (they/she) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois who centers curiosity, connection, and decolonization in their work. They have served BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ folks in community mental health and private practice settings across Chicago’s West and South Side. Their clinical interests include identity exploration, complex and childhood trauma, grief/loss, relationship concerns, and mind–body disconnection. Mesphina has collaborated with local ketamine clinics to offer preparation and integration sessions, and completed Alchemy Community Therapy’s Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Training for Providers. They also coauthored a conceptual review on the topic of psychedelic integration in 2022.

Mesphina’s therapeutic approach is system-focused; exploring the systems within you and the contexts in which you exist. They draw from Harm Reduction, sensorimotor/somatic and narrative based therapies, and are especially attentive to how the body holds experience and shapes meaning over time. Mesphina is intentional about co-creating a space with folks that engenders unbridled exploration of transpersonal experiences.
