Fall 2026 Law Student Internship applications are still open!

PILI’s Law Student Internship Program connects law students from across the country with paid opportunities at public interest law agencies throughout Illinois. Fall Interns receive $3,250 for completing 200 hours of legal work during the semester.

Last night, PILI Interns, Fellows, Alumni, Advisors and friends gathered at The Gage for our 2026 Alumni Reception! It was a wonderful evening of connection and celebration as we welcomed our newest class into the PILI Alumni Network.

We were also proud to recognize Elizabeth Toth with the PILI Advisor Award. Victoria Wang also received the PILI Advisor Award for advising a PILI Fellow. Cassipea Stith with the PILI Intern Award, and Kimberly Mills was honored for her service as outgoing Chair of the Alumni Network Leadership Council, with Chair-Elect Casey Nelson presenting her with a commemorative plaque.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We are excited to see how our newest Alumni continue to serve their communities and advance public interest law and pro bono across Illinois!
