💙🥊Ten years….our ALD warrior is nearly ten years post-transplant 👏but the brain MRIs continue yearly and today is the day🙏. As ALD families know, the monitoring and the worry does not go away, and the fight continues. We founded Knockout ALD because we wanted to help ensure that other ALD boys could have the early diagnosis, early treatment, and the successful outcome that Nicholas has had. More on that as we near his big milestone re-birthday!🎉

This year’s event is extra meaningful as we also celebrate 10 years since our son Nicholas’s life-saving bone marrow transplant (BMT) at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital. His journey is the reason behind our mission and continues to inspire us to fight for other boys and families affected by ALD.

💙Great to see the team at the U of M ALD research lab with our updated donation plaque. Looks like we are in need of a bigger plaque as we enter our 10th year! 😄💪🏻
Plans are already in the works for our 10th Annual Run for ALD this November. We hope to make it our biggest yet in honor of this milestone in raising awareness and support of ALD research! Stay tuned ! 🥊🏃🏼‍♂️
