Today, we are honored to celebrate a very special milestone: Heather Bachmanās 10-year anniversary as Executive Director of Camp Braveways.
Ten years ago, Heather was welcomed into our Camp Rainbow family with the belief that her energy, experience, and heart would be an incredible asset to this organization. A decade later, it is impossible to measure just how true that has become.
Under Heatherās leadership, Camp Braveways has grown in ways that have changed the future of our organization and expanded the impact of our mission. She has helped create new programs, allowing us to serve more children, siblings, teens, caregivers, and families affected by childhood cancer and blood-related diseases. She has built and strengthened our staff, helped establish essential roles, supported our Board of Directors, grown community partnerships, and helped raise critical funds through events, grants, and donor relationships.
But Heatherās impact goes far beyond growth, numbers, or programs.
Her leadership is rooted in compassion, purpose, and a deep belief that every child and family we serve deserves joy, connection, and community. She has poured her heart into every part of Camp Braveways, and there is truly no corner of this organization that has not been positively shaped by her presence.
Heather, thank you for ten years of dedication, vision, strength, and heart. Camp Braveways is stronger because of you, and countless campers, families, volunteers, staff members, and supporters have been impacted by the work you have led.
