We are looking for a volunteer to lead Wells's Participation in the National PTA Reflections Art Contest this year. Experience with art is not required! The role would include helping the PTA with program promotion, collecting and reviewing entries, submitting winners to the next level, and celebrating students. All with the support of the PTA Board. Following yesterday's leadership training, our Secretary and Treasurer returned to Thomas Dale High School today for the Virginia PTA Annual Meeting.
In addition to hearing from state and national education leaders and connecting with PTAs from across the Commonwealth, they participated in voting on Virginia PTA bylaws and policies, ensuring C.C. Wells PTA had a voice in decisions that help shape the organization's future.
They also connected with community partners and explored enrichment opportunities that could benefit our students and families.
As a bonus our Treasurer was recognized as Givebacks' Top User in Virginia by logging 106 hours in the platform this year. I'm still not sure if that's a flex or if we should be scheduling an intervention. 😂

Right in our backyard at Thomas Dale High School, our Secretary and Treasurer joined PTA leaders from across the state for leadership training hosted by Virginia PTA. Every training opportunity helps us become better advocates for the students, families, and staff of C.C. Wells Elementary.

A huge thank to the 5th Grade Committee for all their love and hard work! We’re getting excited to celebrate our amazing fifth graders at this year’s Fifth Grade Party. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone, and we can’t wait to make this a fun and memorable night for these students before they head off to middle school.

Tonight, our Treasurer, and Secretary attended the Chesterfield County Council PTA Awards Dinner where they connected with PTA leaders from across the county, members of the School Board and Board of Supervisors, and the President of Virginia PTA.

We’re proud to share that our PTA received FIVE awards tonight.

Thank you to everyone who supports our students and school community. These awards represent the hard work of so many people.

We’re excited to officially introduce our 2026-2027 PTA Board. Our President, Secretary, and Treasurer are returning for their third year, and we’re thrilled to welcome two new Vice Presidents to the team.

A big thank you to everyone who came to last night’s meeting and participated in our board elections.

We’re looking forward to another fun and successful year supporting our school together. Congratulations to our newly elected board members.
