Reminder that sausage orders MUST be picked up Sunday June 7th between 5pm-7pm.

We do not have freezer space to store orders not picked up. If you do not pick it up, it may be considered a donation back to the lodge and may get resold if there is a demand to be met.

So please… come get your order or arrange for someone to pick it up for you!

Being an Odd Fellow isn’t just attending a meeting. It isn’t just showing up when it benefits you. It isn’t just an opportunity to feel good about helping with an event. It isn’t selective. It isn’t variable. It isn’t a rug that you choose whether you’re gonna stand on it or not.

Being an Odd Fellow is a promise. It’s your word and bond. It’s showing up for your fellow Brothers and Sisters when they may need it most - with or without prompt. It is a commitment that you make every day to be better than you were the day before and to aid and support your Brothers and Sisters. It is a foundation that you stand on consistently.

Not everyone is built to be an Odd Fellow, but rest assured that Odd Fellowship is built for everyone!

Today, Brother Mikey delivered a donation to A Place of Miracles Cafe from our lodge. We delivered our quarterly donation of $125 for both 1st and 2nd Quarter of 2026 ($250).

APOM serves hundreds of underserved and unsheltered families and we are proud to support them in those efforts!

Our lodge is disheartened to hear about the displacement of seniors in Petersburg recently. We are working with The Village -Be Kind- Non Profit Organization to help provide meals with financial support.

Today, Chester Lodge #281 extends our heartfelt wishes to all mothers celebrating Mother’s Day.

Mothers are often the quiet strength behind our families, the steady hand in difficult times, and the source of love, compassion, and guidance that shapes future generations. Their devotion reflects so many of the principles we cherish in Odd Fellowship — love, friendship, truth, and service to others.

To all mothers, grandmothers, widows, daughters, sisters, and mother figures in our community: thank you for all you do each and every day.
