The scans that changed my life. At two months away from turning 14, we found out that Scout had primary lung carcinoma. Two pictures that broke me. Other than the mass in his left lung, he was so healthy. This was such a huge blow, and I didn’t know where to turn or who to get advice from until I found Dr. Dana. She offered so much hope and made sure my boy was as comfortable as he could be. I want to share the things that helped us through this process with other families dealing with such a devastating diagnosis. Scout did not leave this world in vain, and he has definitely left his mark. We will forever honor him by helping others. 💙
