Main Street Park Alliance’s commitment to the wellness and vitality of our community does not end with construction.

Our fundraising efforts continue, and it is not too late to join us. 100% of post-construction funds will go to the Chelsea Parks & Pathways Sustainability Fund. The fund will be used for capital repairs and replacements throughout all of Chelsea’s parks to ensure the longevity of these new, beautiful spaces.

Updates on the park opening 🗓️

After a bitterly cold winter and a very wet early spring, construction is back in full swing at Holmes Family Park!

Construction will continue into July before the park’s ownership is transferred to the City of Chelsea.

The City will have a soft opening, weather and construction permitting, in July, with Grand Opening Festivities planned for August 21 & 22.

🚧While very enticing, please remember that it is an active construction zone and is NOT safe or open to the public. 🚧

Crafty yarn friends! Your help is needed. As part of the Pitch Haus project, we need some tea cosys made. Here’s a few examples; Open to style, but we’d need them to be garden themed. 👀 🌼🍓If you’re interested, comment or DM and we’ll get you more details. This is an amazing and super cool project and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.
