Hello everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying your Summer with friends and family! I wanted to share some very exciting news about a new addition to the Chelsea Aquatic Club coaching staff. Please join us, in welcoming our new Assistant Technique Coach, Mike Holtz to the team!

Coach Mike brings a wealth of experience to the pool deck! He has more than 20 years of coaching some kind of swimming program. From USA Swimming and High-School Swim Teams, to running Summer Swim Clubs, he has just about done it all! He also previously served as an Assistant Coach at Chelsea High-School alongside Coach Dave Jolly.

As a native of Milan, Michigan, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors, working out and helping young athletes grow both in and out of the pool.

We are absolutely trilled to welcome him to our coaching staff and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our athletes and program!

Good morning CAC families,

I am so excited for our first swim meet of the season, tomorrow at Dundee! To kick off the fun, we are doing "Spirit Meets". Please have your child wear their PJ’s to the pool with their CAC swim shirts! We will take a fun team photo before warmups.

Meet Details:
-Date: Saturday, June 20th, 2026
-Location: Dundee High School
130 Viking Dr,
Dundee, MI 48131
-Arrival Time: Please have swimmer(s) arrive at 7:45am
-Warm-Ups Start: 8:00am
-Meet Start Time: 9:00am
-Concession Stand: is available and will accept cash or Venmo

A few reminders:
-Bring your swimsuit, caps and goggles
-Extra towels are always great for swimmers to have since they will be in and out of the pool multiple times throughout the morning.
-Water bottle to stay hydrated
-Extra dry clothes to help stay warm
-Healthy snacks
-Your swimmer does NOT need to bring a folding chair; the Dundee's swim coach shared that there will be plenty of seating for us on the pool deck

Combined Blue and Gold 6-7pm

Hey CAC families,

We just received news, that unfortunately the pool will need to remain closed all day tomorrow, Wednesday June 17th, due to the required maintenance work. As a result, AM and PM practices for tomorrow have been CANCELLED for Pre-CAC, Blue and Gold group swimmers.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the necessary work is completed. We look forward to getting everyone back in the pool, as scheduled for Thursday, June 18th.

After a week of hard work, dedication, and great attitudes in the pool, our swimmers received a special Friday Morning Fun Treat...DONUTS! We love celebrating their effort and teamwork, while creating memories that make our swim family so special.
