Goldie’s school visit = pure joy. 🐾💛
Hundreds of little hands, endless smiles, and one very loved therapy dog soaking up every bit of it. There’s something special about the comfort, calm, and happiness a dog like Goldie can bring to a school day.

Last weekend, our therapy dog teams were honored to provide comfort and connection at Charlotte’s Tunnel to Towers event—a powerful day dedicated to remembering our nation’s heroes and supporting the families of fallen first responders and military service members. We’re grateful to play a small part in such a meaningful mission. 🐾❤️🇺🇸

“How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it!” —George Elliston

Volunteer Appreciation Week is here, and we’re wagging our tails with gratitude for our amazing pet therapy volunteers!

You and your pups are out there making magic happen—one cuddle, one smile, and one tail wag at a time. Whether it’s brightening someone’s day, easing a tough moment, or simply being a comforting presence, the joy you bring is paws-itively powerful.

It takes a special kind of human (and an extra special dog!) to do what you do. Your kindness, dedication, and passion for the IPP mission make a lasting impact in ways that words can’t fully capture.

Thank you for sharing your time, your kindness, and your incredible dogs with our community. We appreciate you more than all the treats in the jar!

Our volunteers are not typically in pictures because they allow their pups to shine. Here are a few pictures of their partners. Just know behind every amazing pup is an incredible handler!

This past week was National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week — honoring the calm voices behind the scenes who answer the calls when it matters most.

Our incredible therapy dogs had the privilege of visiting the dedicated dispatchers at the police department to say thank you in the best way they know how — with wagging tails, gentle snuggles, and a little stress relief.

These unseen heroes handle every call with strength, compassion, and professionalism. We’re so grateful for all they do to keep our community safe.

At Invisible Paw Prints, we are more than an organization- we are like a big family and we love and become attached to the other dogs in our group. When we lose one of our own, that loss is felt by us all.

Today we honor and remember a truly special member of the IPP family, Apollo, who crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday after a brief illness.

Apollo shared his incredible heart with so many in our community through his therapy dog work. From bringing comfort to patients and staff at Atrium, to brightening the days of students in local schools, to offering quiet companionship at a children’s grief camp, Apollo had a remarkable gift for connection.

We are deeply grateful for the time, love, and comfort Apollo shared with others. His impact will continue to be felt in the lives he touched and he will be sorely missed.

Our hearts and prayers are with his handler and family during this difficult time.

Run free, sweet Apollo. You will always be part of our mission and in our hearts. 💙

Way to go, Teddy! We are so glad that you and your mom volunteer with IPP when you are off-duty. You make us proud!
