It’s time once again for the Carolina Brotherhood ride, an amazing group that raises funds for the families of fallen Firefighters and Police Officers. All of this, started by 2 Local 660 members several years ago. Check out this link for details. You can also support the ride by purchasing this year special design T-shirt. We will put the link for the shirt in the comments. https://www.facebook.com/share/18tX8rKxtb/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Charlotte Fire Fighters Local 660 Extends Gratitude to City Council for Supporting Public Safety Employees!!!!

The members of Charlotte Fire Fighters Local 660 would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Mayor, City Manager and City Council members for their support and approval of the Fy 27 budget that includes the fairness in raises initiative and the 10% compensation adjustment for Charlotte Fire Department personnel.
This investment represents a meaningful commitment to the men and women who serve the residents and visitors of Charlotte every day. The approved compensation adjustments recognize the dedication, professionalism, and sacrifices made by firefighters, who work tirelessly to protect our growing community.
Additionally, we commend City Council for supporting the term change of 5 to 10 years for modified duty. These assignments provide valuable opportunities for injured personnel to continue contributing to the department while recovering from job-related injuries and illness. Modified duty programs not only support employee wellness and recovery but also allow the department to benefit from the knowledge, experience, and expertise of its members during their transition back to full operational status.
The members of Local 660 recognize that this achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of City Council, City leadership, Charlotte Fire Department administration, and the many firefighters who shared their stories and advocated for meaningful improvements.
Its also imperative to thank the countless members, their families and spouses who took time away to encourage, push and echo the need for fairness between us and CMPD.
On behalf of the members of Charlotte Fire Fighters Local 660, thank you for your leadership, support, and commitment to the firefighters and emergency responders who proudly serve the City of Charlotte every day.

Respectfully,
Charlotte Fire Fighters Local 660
