Ryan came to PRN’s Respite at the Plaza as a guest during a vulnerable time in life and found something deeper than support. While they had worked with peer services before, this was the first time the experience truly felt mutual. At the Respite, Ryan felt understood instead of judged or pitied. The sense of shared experience created a space where guests and peer supporters stood together, learning from and supporting one another.

Spaces like our peer-run respites allow guests to stay for up to 10 days and be surrounded by a supportive community, all for zero cost. To learn more or donate to support our work, visit our website at promiseresourcenetwork.org.
