When was the last time you had to spend time wondering how you were going to eat?

In this video, Patrick shares what hunger feels like on the street — and the barriers that make it even harder to survive.

Where he is, he isn’t allowed to ask for food or money. He can’t even say he’s homeless. If someone hands him anything from their car, he risks being arrested. The only way he’s allowed to receive help is if someone pulls over and gets out of their car.

Today, we were able to get Patrick food.
This is what outreach looks like — showing up, listening, and meeting immediate needs.

Almost Home Outreach Foundation is officially formed and currently operating as a nonprofit organization, with 501(c)(3) status pending IRS approval.

We are actively serving individuals experiencing homelessness through weekly outreach, essential supplies, and storytelling rooted in dignity and compassion.

During this phase, we’re focused on building partnerships, community support, and sustainable programs so we’re ready to expand the moment our approval is finalized.
