June 8-10 2025 in Charleston, SC I Fab is 48 hours of educational and inspirational workshops created for women, by women in the hospitality industry.

Fab is about connecting, sharing and learning about the business of food and beverage. It’s about moving forward, standing up for yourself, being brave, baller and badass. It’s about women supporting women in their life goals. Fab’s a veritable feast (yeah we did) for the senses and soul.

Let me tell you about this Southern Smoke Foundation team and every single chef, beverage professional, partner, clean up crew, volunteers and on and on. This pic represents all the hard working souls that are the heartbeat of this organization and our community. They raised $2 million dollar for people in need that are in the food and beverage space. I can’t say enough about this organization! Hats off to all of you!

Every great meal has a story behind it, and it’s written by the people who show up, service after service, no matter what.

Today, on National Food Service Worker Day, we’re honoring the cooks, servers, and bartenders who keep this industry moving.

We’re proud to stand behind Giving Kitchen, the Atlanta based nonprofit stepping in with emergency assistance for food service workers when life throws them a curveball.

To everyone behind the bar, behind the line, and on the floor: we see you, and we’re grateful for you.

Some of the most meaningful conversations at FAB happened over a simple cup of coffee.

Coffee with a Speaker sessions were based on pre submitted questions, kept small with no more than three attendees per speaker in 20 minute blocks.

For some, it was the perfect way to start the day with a personal connection. For others, it was a chance to ask niche questions specific to their role and get real guidance in return. And for a few, it was the nudge they needed while considering a brand new path.

You told us you wanted more educational programming this year, especially around finance, so we teamed up with Aprio for a three part webinar series made for FAB members who want clearer numbers and faster answers from the reports they already run.

Each session is 45 minutes: 30 minutes of content, then a live Q&A with Aprio’s restaurant specialists.

This session on Influencers + Your Business 📱 tackled a topic every attendee could relate to because working with influencers looks a lot different than it did even a few years ago.

Speakers Mayter Scott and Ariel Blanchard broke down how that relationship has evolved and gave attendees the tools to figure out whether an influencer partnership is actually the right fit for their brand, not just the trendy one.

This is the quiet before the day long planning session to help build FAB 2027 and beyond. We dreamt big and we also put down real content we need to focus on and things we need to say goodbye too! That was a hot take moment Kari Crowe Seher ! I think what I’m most grateful for is the willingness that each of those that joined in on Sunday and Monday really care about FAB and want to be a part of this journey. Is it exactly what I dreamed of 11 years ago? No, it’s surpassed it by miles. Thank you Allison Cooke for your hospitality! You have no idea now grateful I am! The other shout outs are Elizabeth Meltz - hire her for any team training, conflict resolution or just anything - she is incredible.
