On February 28th, 2020, College of Charleston Sustainable Agriculture students visited the third grade class at Angel Oak Elementary. Project Inspire and CofC's Sustainable Agriculture's partnership aims to incorporate art into STEM education. During this workshop, students crafted gardens utilizing a mix of natural and conventional craft materials. Through this exercise, students cooperated with peers to envision and create their own gardens. Some students created fences with the use of toothpicks, some made ponds with blue paper--there was no shortage of creative ideas!

The movie takes place in Hawaii and follows three sisters from a marginalized background as they take part in a one-of-a-kind youth empowerment program centered around organic farming.
