While the primary purpose of our Duck Race is to raise funds for local charities, over the years, you all have turned it into an incredible celebration of community and family! Saturday was packed with smiles, games, and non-stop activities that the kids absolutely loved! We are grateful to all our neighbors who showed up to support the cause.

Ducks in the news on ABC 4!

Thousands of rubber ducks splashed into the Wando River on Daniel Island Saturday afternoon. The initiative is part of the 19th annual Charleston Duck Race.

GOOD MORNING, CHARLESTON! THE BIG DAY IS FINALLY HERE!

The 20th Anniversary Charleston Charity Duck Race officially kicks off this morning at Daniel Island Waterfront Park!

To make sure you don't miss a single second of the action, here is your official game plan for the day:

• 10:00 AM: The event officially OPENS!

• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Family-friendly fun and games!

• 12:15 PM – 12:30 PM: THE MAIN EVENT! The ducks drop into the water!

• Just after 1:00 PM: The winners are announced!

Up for grabs at the finish line: 1st Place: $10,000 Cash! 2nd Place: $5,000 Cash! 3rd – 7th Place: $1,000 Cash each!

Load up the kids, and come find a spot along the riverbank. Let's make a massive splash for charity!
