This week, Lucas County Economic Development is shining the spotlight on Masters Land Services LLC, owned and operated by Stuart Masters!
🌳 Got an overgrown property that needs some attention? Masters Land Services can help bring it back to life.
A recent brush-clearing project included pulling brush and trees, followed by mowing the area down to open up the property and make the lake visible again. What a difference clearing unwanted growth can make!
Masters Land Services offers services including tree pulling, brush removal, grading, mowing, land clearing, and more. Recent rains causing problems with your driveway? Stuart can help with driveway repairs and grading, too.

Successful Grow Our Own career day for the Chariton Middle School 8th grade students today! Lucas County Economic Development is proud to coordinate this tour annually as a focus on our local employers as they show the students that there are a vast amount of career opportunities right here in Chariton, Iowa. As well as our dedication to the students future.

A huge Thank You to Lucas County Health Center, Johnson Machine Works, Hy-Vee HBC Building, Seats Inc., Charger Manufacturing and Chariton Construction Academy Building Trades for generously providing the students with great resources at their business for the class of 2031! Thank you to Hy-Vee Distribution Center for allowing us to have an alternate lunch location.

LCED likes to treat the students to these career ideas before they set their 4 year plan for high school. Hoping they find a career that spikes their interest and can gather the correct classes in high school to make their dreams come true residing right here in Lucas County.
