Help for the Hurting Ministry Our mission is to help those that were displaced by the war in Ukraine. Working alongside different organizations and churches to help those that need it most.

March 2022 after the war broke out we felt the Lord call us to help the people of Ukraine. We went to work contacting medical supply facilities, food pantries, and the local churches. Many donated clothing, finances, and food items. We opened up our Help for the Hurting mission, with Gods help we were able to get our first container packed and sent out in May. It arrived at a church in the city of

Khmelnitsky a few short weeks later. We ask that if it is on your heart please donate to our cause. The Lord urges us as Christians to care for those that are hurt, lost, and orphaned. We are in desperate need of feminine hygiene products, diapers for babies and adults, non-perishable food items, blankets/sleeping bags, winter clothing. Thank you and God bless.

Some of the medical supplies and equipment from container 4 will be making its way to the local children’s hospital. A few medical personnel arrived to pick up some supplies. Alexander was the first to introduce himself. He is a director of a center that has a palliative care unit, in desperate need of medical supplies and equipment. Maksim the second man is a doctor of physical therapy that works with children. They will be using the children’s walkers and equipment that were sent over. Both very grateful for the wonderful donations from the assisted living facilities, nursing homes, as well as the many people who gave medical supplies and equipment. Thank you once again! Container number 4 officially arrived in Ukraine August 9th! We have started collecting for container number 5. The plan is to send this next container October. Any help with medical supplies, dried, foods, canned goods, adult and children diapers, hygiene products, and monetary donations much appreciated. Thank you and God bless!

Huge thank you to Take Away Hunger for blessing us with 4 pallets of dried nourishing meal kits. We received 160 boxes and each box contains 216 meals. This is such an answered prayer. Also, big thank you to Grey Wagon Logistics for delivering the pallets from Cedar Rapids to Chariton. To all the volunteers that came to load up the goods into the container, may God bless you all.

Third shipment contained over 200 bags of rice (ranging from 25-50lbs each) as well as canned and dried food. The Light of the World Church with the help of допомога ministry delivered to Херсон and Ніколаев regions. The residents received much needed food and clothing items. Those that needed it received walkers and medical supplies.

Thank you to everyone who donated. We are now working on container 4 and are in need of dried and canned food, medical supplies, and finances to pay for shipping. God bless you all!
