Today is the day! The Vredenburg Performing Arts Series kicks off today, Thursday, September 24th, with Songbirds of the Seventies! The concerts is at 7:00 PM in Johnson Auditorium!

Celebrate the unforgettable voices that defined a decade! Songbirds of the Seventies shines a spotlight on the trailblazing women that ruled the airwaves of the 70's, blending rock and pop with powerful messages and melodies. Featuring the hits of Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton-John, Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon, Karen Carpenter, and more. This show is a heartfelt tribute to the women whose songs became a soundtrack of a generation!

Price of admission is $30 for adults and $5 for students. Season tickets can be purchased at the Chariton Chamber Office, or Piper's. Season Tickets are $75 and include admission to all five shows this season. Tickets are available at the door, but unfortunately, we cannot accept credit/debit cards at this time.

Here it is! The long awaited line up for the 2026-2027 Vredenburg Performing Arts Series! 5 awesome concerts are in this year’s line up. Season tickets are only $75 are are available NOW at Piper’s and at Chariton Area Chamber/Main Street office. Tickets for individual concerts are $30 for adults and $5 for students.
