We are very happy to welcome Dr. Becky Loar (Becky Holbrook) as our Interim Artistic Director for our 2026-2027 season! Registration will begin in July as we resume rehearsals in late August.

Dr. Becky Loar earned a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Voice Performance with a cognate in Choral Conducting from the University of South Carolina and has performed many opera roles and concert works with regional orchestras throughout the Southeast. She continues to teach voice and now serves as Director of Traditional Music at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in West Columbia.

We had a great spring concert series with our Artistic Director, Lindsey Webb Esterdahl! We have bittersweet news that Lindsey is pursuing a dream job in Florence, South Carolina, so we will miss her very much but are happy for her next endeavor! Best wishes to you, Lindsey!

Spring Concert on April 24 at Lake Murray Presbyterian Church at 7 PM and April 26 at Shandon Presbyterian at 4 PM.

We have started rehearsals on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church in Chapin.

This concert is titled "The Road We Share: Songs of Journey and Home." We will start the set with Randall Thompson's Frostiana—a collection of 7 pieces based on the poetry of Robert Frost.

Our performances will be April 24 and 26, plus we are adding two nursing home for a total of 4 performances.

We are very excited that our Spring season is starting rehearsals next week! We rehearse on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM every Tuesday at Mt Horeb Lutheran Church, Boundary Street, Chapin, SC. Our performances will be April 24 and 26, 2026.

Meet our new Artistic Director, Lindsey Webb Esterdahl!

Lindsey Webb Esterdahl is a music educator and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Carolina, where she is pursuing a PhD in music education with a minor in choral conducting. Her research focuses on the intersections of music education and disability studies. Previously a secondary choral director, she taught adaptive music, was a 2021 Teacher of the Year finalist, and received the 2023 SCMEA Young Outstanding Music Educator Award. Her choirs earned superior ratings and were selected for state and national honor choirs, including a 2023 SCMEA conference performance by the Patriot Singers.

Lindsey holds degrees from Lander University and the University of South Carolina. She is Secretary of the South Carolina ACDA and active in NAfME and SCMEA. In addition to serving as a clinician for honor choirs, she is Artistic Director of the Dutch Fork Choral Society, Choral Scholar at Shandon Presbyterian Church, and a vocalist with Limited Time Only (LTO).
