We’re not saying Bambi lied on her résumé, but we’re having a hard time verifying that she took a Fortune 500 company public. She’s 14 pounds and barked through the entire Zoom interview. 💼😂

What we CAN confirm: this 2½-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix is a sweet, playful little lovebug once she knows and trusts you. Cuddles, kisses, and a silly personality? Verified. MBA from Harvard? Still waiting on the transcript.

Bambi needs patient people who let her warm up at her own pace. She enjoys familiar dog friends but could also thrive as your only dog with plenty of attention and playtime. She’s smart, settles well at home, and does well when left alone.

Her ideal home has no kids or dog-savvy children 16 and up who respect her space. ❤️

🎃👻 HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN FROM CANINES & KITTIES RESCUE! 🐾🧡🖤

It's officially the one night of the year when humans dress like weirdos, strangers ring your doorbell 87 times, and dogs have absolutely NO idea what is happening. 🤣🐶

Meanwhile, the cats are plotting everyone's demise from the windowsill. 🐈‍⬛😈

Before the spooky shenanigans begin, here are some tips to keep your furry little monsters safe!

🍫 CHOCOLATE IS FOR HUMANS!
We know your dog has never been fed a day in their life (according to them), but chocolate and sugar-free candy containing xylitol can be dangerous or even deadly. Keep that candy stash out of paw's reach!

🚪 DON'T LET FLUFFY PULL A HOUDINI!
With the door opening approximately 4,000 times tonight, make sure your pets are secure. Nobody wants to spend Halloween chasing a Chihuahua dressed as a taco down the street. 🌮💨

👻 COSTUMES SHOULD BE CUTE, NOT CRUEL!
If your pet freezes like a statue, walks backward, or looks like they're reconsidering their entire existence, maybe skip the costume. 😂 Comfort comes first!

🔔 NOT EVERYONE LOVES TRICK-OR-TREATERS!
Some dogs think every doorbell is a home invasion. Some cats have already filed a formal complaint. Give anxious pets a quiet, cozy room away from the chaos!

🕯️ WATCH THOSE SPOOKY DECORATIONS!
Candles, cords, glow sticks, and fake spiderwebs can cause some very REAL trouble. And trust us, nobody wants to explain to the emergency vet why their dog ate a plastic skeleton. 💀

🐾 CHECK THOSE ID TAGS!
Make sure collars are secure and microchip information is current. Your dog may think they're embarking on the greatest adventure of their life. You will disagree.

🎃 AND REMEMBER...
Your pets do NOT need candy, but they DO deserve extra snuggles, pet-safe treats, and the right to judge your Halloween costume choices.

These two sweethearts have spent their lives being loved, but their world is about to change through no fault of their own. 💔 Due to a change in family circumstances they are no longer able to stay with their family. This is an incredibly difficult situation for everyone involved, and we're hoping someone can open their heart and home to keep these two together.

🐶 Ages: 9 and 7 years young
⚖️ Weights: Approximately 8 and 10 lbs
💕 Personalities: Sweet, loving, playful, and people-oriented!

Don't let their ages fool you! These two still have plenty of pep in their tiny little steps! 🥰

☀️ They LOVE soaking up the sunshine!
🐾 They enjoy going for walks and exploring!
❤️ They adore people and have so much love to give!
🐶 And most importantly, they are BONDED and need to stay TOGETHER!

✅ A securely fenced yard is a MUST! These little sun worshippers love spending time outside and are accustomed to having a yard to enjoy.
✅ Children must be over 5 years old due to their tiny size.
✅ A loving home with room for TWO little shadows who will happily follow you around and steal your heart!
💔 They've already had their lives turned upside down. Let's make sure they don't have to lose each other, too.

These sweet little faces don't need much. Just a safe home, a sunny spot in the yard, and someone willing to love them while they wait for their next chapter. ❤️

Ferngully recently attended our spooky adoption event and stole the show with her tutu! But there’s one title we’d love to help her retire: our longest resident dog. 🥺❤️

FOSTER FOUND!

🚨 URGENT PUPPY FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

At just around 7 weeks old and 6 pounds, this little boy has already been through far too much. A good Samaritan saw someone throw him from a car and stopped to help. 💔 Thankfully, he was not injured.

He may be a boxer mix, but we don’t know for sure. What we do know is that he needs a safe place to land. ❤️

His rescuer can only keep him for a few days. After that, he faces going to a shelter—such a hard place for a puppy this young.

🚐 He can arrive on transport THIS SATURDAY, October 31, if we can find a foster home!

🏡 No apartments or condos due to his vaccination status.
🐾 Someone must be home most of the day, as he’s a very young puppy who needs frequent care, potty breaks, and attention.
