Forgiveness is difficult when we forget how much we’ve been forgiven.

This Sunday, we were reminded that the gospel changes the way we see others. When we recognize the grace God has shown us through Christ, forgiveness stops being something we reluctantly give and becomes something that naturally flows from a transformed heart.

Grateful for another Sunday in God’s Word as we continued our journey through Philemon. We can’t wait to gather again next week.

We’re grateful for another Sunday in worship, prayer, God’s Word, and community!

God’s grace moves us from selfishness to sacrificial love. Because of what we’ve received in Christ, we’re called to forgive, serve, and let the Gospel restore our relationships.

Thankful for what God is doing in our church!

Forgiveness is hard when the hurt is real.

But Paul reminds Philemon, and reminds us, to take our eyes off ourselves and look to Jesus.

Jesus did not love us because we earned it. He loved us when we were far from Him, messy, undeserving, and still in need of grace.

We love because He first loved us!

Yesterday at Heritage, Pastor Michael walked us through Philemon 1:8-11 and reminded us that the gospel transforms how we respond to one another.

Because of Christ, we can move toward others with love, grace, and forgiveness, even when it’s hard.

What a gift to gather around God’s Word and be reminded to abide in His love and extend that same love to others.

Our favorite day of the week is almost here!

As we continue through Philemon, we’re being reminded that the gospel doesn’t just change what we believe. It changes how we forgive, how we welcome, and how we love one another as family in Christ.

Come worship with us tomorrow, bring someone with you, and let’s keep growing together around God’s Word.

Our faith was never meant to stay private. As Jesus works in us, He teaches us to encourage others, carry burdens with love, and bring peace into the places we enter.

Sometimes encouragement does not remove the pain, but it reminds us where to look.

The gospel produces a kind of love that listens, prays, strengthens, and points one another back to Jesus.

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country 🇺🇸

We are grateful for their courage, their sacrifice, and the freedoms we are blessed to know.

As we remember those who laid down their lives for others, we are pointed to the greatest love of all: Jesus, who gave His life so we could have true and lasting freedom.
