DREAAM High School Feature 🎓✨

Meet Camarion, a DREAAM high school participant, who’s been making an impact over the past few months working in the DREAAM Afterschool Academy. Whether he’s helping with janitorial work or volunteering wherever needed, Camarion is always willing to lend a hand and support the community. What he enjoys most about DREAAM is the positive environment, the people he’s met, and the opportunity to connect with others while being part of something meaningful.

Do you have a brief story about how DREAAM has positively impacted you or any of the students?
“DREAAM really made me see things more brightly about wanting me to do better as a person but also made me see bigger things like wanting to help the newer generation go on and be on their best route”.

How do you see DREAAM making a difference in the community?
“I think it'll help people become more socially engaged, empower youth and foster future leaders, improve educational outcomes, break cycles of disadvantage, strengthen community cohesion and engagement, and create a more safer and supportive environment”.

Every story shared through DREAAM reflects growth, opportunity, and community. Join us in continuing to uplift and empower youth throughout Champaign-Urbana and beyond. 🌟
