Girls Rock! Champaign-Urbana after-school programs are officially back this Fall, and registration is now open! We are hosting two interactive workshops designed for kids ages 8–11 to build confidence, explore big emotions, and make some noise.
Space is strictly limited to 10 participants per session, so make sure to grab a spot early!

🗓️ Upcoming Workshops:
• Tuesday, October 27: Big Feelings, Real Skills with Empowerment Coach Tenyia Lewis. A fun session focusing on simple coping skills and understanding emotions.
• Tuesday, November 3: MAKE SOME NOISE with Band Manager Candy Reeder. A playful, music-filled workshop centered on building courage and facing fears.

⏰ Schedule & Timing:
• Drop-off: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• Workshop: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Pick-up: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM

📍 Location:
GR!CU HQ – 117 North Market Street, Downtown

💰 Cost:
Sliding scale $20–$40 per workshop (financial assistance is available if needed)

If you haven’t walked by our HQ lately, you’re missing the incredible process of our pal Carlie Upchurch creating this beautiful mural on our wall on Taylor Street. 🎨

This piece has so many lovely meanings to it for the community and we can’t wait to share more of her work throughout the process.

WOW THAT WAS CAMP 2026 !! So many incredible rock stars and community members worked hard all week long to put on today’s FREAKING AMAZING show !! We’ve got band recordings COMING SOON!!

And of course … plans for MORE camper merch… and more interviews with “Funcle Ken” to publish … and of course MORE PROGRAMMING on the way!! Camp is only the beginning ♥️🙏♥️🤘♥️

But we’ll be savoring the moment and sharing the love … and the bloopers like
