Historian and NCNW Illinois State Coalition Chair of Technology, Tammy Gibson, will share her personal journey to Texas, where she explored the history and legacy of Juneteenth firsthand. Through her experiences and research, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of this pivotal moment in American history and its enduring significance in the ongoing pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality.
