Get those costumes ready and join us downtown for an afternoon of trick or treating with our local businesses!

With so many little ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses making their way downtown each year, that’s a LOT of candy! 🍭

Want to help keep the treats flowing? You can support our participating downtown businesses by:

🍬 Dropping off an unopened bag of individually wrapped candy at Juice Box, Let’s Play Something, or HUBBUB

💛 Making a monetary donation to help us purchase candy to distribute among participating locations. Link in bio

Join the Centralia Downtown Association and Economic Alliance of Lewis County for our final Revitalization Roundtable of the year as we celebrate the progress happening in our community and look ahead to what’s next.

We’re excited to have the Port of Centralia join us as part of the evening’s conversation, sharing updates and perspectives on the work happening in and around our community.

Come early, grab a drink from the bar, order dinner from Dick’s Sandwich Shop, and connect with others who care about Centralia’s future. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Following Founder’s Day, we were proud to share food from our pantry project with the Centralia College food pantry, helping these resources continue to reach members of our community.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsored a bag, donated, volunteered, and helped make this project possible.

From our community, back to our community. This is what practicing community looks like.

The Centralia College Food Pantry received a HUGE donation yesterday from the Founder's Day event hosted by the Centralia Downtown Association, Multiculturally Minded, and ROOTED in Lewis County. They donated more than three carts of food for students in need. We are so appreciative!!

A historic recognition for a remarkable legacy.

This Founder’s Day, we were incredibly proud to celebrate an official State of Washington proclamation honoring Centralia’s founder, George Washington, and the lasting impact of his life and legacy.

To mark the occasion, Governor Bob Ferguson shared a special message recognizing George Washington, the community he helped build, and the importance of continuing to tell his story.

This proclamation belongs to our entire community. To everyone who continues to preserve our history, share George and Mary Jane Washington’s story, and show up for Centralia, thank you.

We are proud of where we came from, proud of the community we are today, and proud to ensure George Washington’s legacy continues for generations to come.
