Summer is around the corner, so let’s make sure to make the most of the last bit of Spring!!

Join us on this month’s Stroll With Friends on Saturday, June 20th for a special occasion: a Q***r Ecologies Nature Walk! We will offer a glimpse into the expansive world of ecology and the many different ways plants and animals exist in the natural world.

In addition to enjoying this educational walk we have a surprise… 🥁 🥁 🥁 an ecology books raffle!

This is definitely a hike you won’t want to miss!

A huge thank you to Rooted in Lewis County and our anonymous book donor for providing us the wonderful pieces of literature we will be distributing to this month’s attendees.

Happy Earth Day!

On April 18, 2026 several dedicated volunteers donated their Saturday morning to the ever ongoing task of caring for our Natural Area. For many, the reward lies in the peace of knowing we played our part in the little section of the world we call home. The natural world is often separated from our lives, but it doesn’t have to be.

This Earth Day, we invite you to think about how we can give back, whether it’s in getting your hands dirty or teaching a friend how to appreciate all the natural beauty around you.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made today and all of our events so wonderful!
