‼️ UPDATE:

We ARE able to accept horses needing wildfire evacuation. If you need to relocate your horse due to the wildfire, please call 541-776-7206 before arriving so we can coordinate space and assist you.

If you have an animal that is already registered to participate in the Jackson County Fair and you are under an evacuation order, please feel free to bring your animal to the Fairgrounds early. Our staff will work with you to ensure your registered Fair animal has a safe place until the event begins.

We encourage those in need of livestock evacuation assistance to follow updates from Jackson County Emergency Management and local animal response organizations for available resources.

The shelter for people and domestic animals affected is at 806 6th Avenue, Gold Hill.
