Rogue Valley Dairy Goat Association Dairy Goats The first Dairy Goat Club in the southern Oregon region was the Southern Oregon Dairy Goat Association (SODGA).

In the late 1960’s into the early 1970’s this group slowly became few in numbers and when it dissolved completely they donated their entire library of dairy goat books and information to the newly forming Rogue Valley Dairy Goat Association (RVDGA).

As many of you know our Jackson show next year is during the first weekend of Nationals. Ww are thinking of going ahead with the show and just making a 2 ring show. It would be on July 18th. We know all the big herds will be in Salem along with most of the judges. But this would be a great way for some other goats to come out and shine. So I am asking for input on if you are planning to travel to Salem for National. We need to start figuring out if a 2 ring show can even work on July 18th. So let us know what you are thinking for next summer. I will be keeping track of who is going and who might still be around and want to show at or Jackson County one day show. I will be asking this question again and plan on sending out some emails too.
