It’s Follow-Up Friday and we're checking in on Hearing Dog 🐾 Gina and her handler, Antonia!

Gina is settling right into life in California, and recently enjoyed some sunshine and relaxation on the deck of their new home.

We love receiving these glimpses into the lives of our dogs and seeing the adventures they continue to share with their handlers. Wishing Gina and Antonia many happy memories in their new home together!

Volunteer Puppy Raiser Karla has been part of Future Assistance Dog 🐾 Peak's journey since he was just days old and according to her, Peak made the first move.

"Peak spoke to me from day one. I like to say he chose me!"

From training sessions and social outings to goofy puppy moments and well-earned naps, every day is helping Peak build the skills he'll need to make a life-changing difference for someone in the future.

Karla knows firsthand the impact Service Dogs have because she's seen lives transformed by them. That's what inspires her to keep raising puppies—and why she says the rewards are truly boundless.

Sure, handing a puppy back at the end of their training journey is hard. But knowing they're on their way to changing someone's life? That's pretty amazing.

A huge THANK YOU to Mark Hanson and the incredible volunteers of the Air Care Alliance for helping Future Assistance Dog 🐾 Fiona on her journey to a brighter future!

With the help of dedicated volunteer pilots, Fiona safely traveled by air to Massachusetts to continue her journey toward becoming a future Service Dog. These flights save time, reduce stress on our dogs, and ensure they can quickly reach the training and opportunities they need to thrive.

We are so grateful for the generosity, compassion, and dedication of everyone involved in making Fiona’s trip possible. Thank you for helping us change lives—one flight at a time.

🐾 Hogan Needs a Puppy Raiser ASAP! 🐾

Hogan is ready to start his journey toward becoming a life-changing Assistance Dog, but he needs a Puppy Raiser to help him take that first step.

Hogan isn't alone—we also have two other puppies currently in need of Puppy Raisers right away. And with more puppies arriving later in June and July, we'll be looking for even more volunteers in the coming weeks!

As a Puppy Raiser, you'll provide a loving home, socialization, and basic training while helping prepare a future Assistance Dog for their important work.

From Shelter to Service Dogs 🐾 Toffee and 🐾 Queenie are working hard on learning that cues aren't always meant for everyone. When their names are called before a cue, they know it's their turn to respond; helping build focus, impulse control, and teamwork.

It’s Follow-Up Friday and we’re celebrating Jozlyn and Certified Hearing Dog 🐾 Rocky!

Recently, Jozlyn walked across the stage at Oregon State University, earning her B.S. in Zoology with Rocky right by her side.

Since placement, Rocky has become a skilled partner, alerting Jozlyn to the oven timer, key drops, and name calls. He even picked up a new alert unique to college life — letting Jozlyn know when bikes are headed their way on campus! 🚲

Congratulations to Jozlyn and Rocky on this incredible accomplishment. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing team!

DBL Certified Assistance Dog Trainer Dana recently took some of her string on a training outing to Old Navy, where they got to meet the friendly mascot that greets shoppers at the front door!

From practicing good manners in a busy retail environment to working on skills like UNDER, these outings help our Assistance Dogs in Training build confidence and learn to focus around new sights, sounds, and distractions.
