๐๐ PUTTING LIVESTOCK JUDGING SKILLS TO WORK! ๐๐
Our FFA members had an incredible 3 days at Chico Livestock Judging Camp, gaining valuable experience and putting their livestock evaluation skills to the test!
Throughout the camp, members evaluated cattle, sheep, goats, and swine, learning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each class, make accurate placing decisions, and confidently defend those decisions through oral reasons and questions.
We are especially proud of our members who competed in the Advanced Divisionand represented our chapter with hard work and determination:
๐ฅ Carson Herringshaw โ 3rd Place

Jayme DeBenedetti โ 11th Place

๐ Congratulations to all of our members!Your commitment to learning, practicing, and challenging yourselves is what makes opportunities like this so valuable.
A huge THANK YOU to the Chico State University students, industry professionals, and former livestock judging students who dedicated their time to coaching and mentoring our members. Your knowledge, encouragement, and passion for the livestock industry made this camp an experience our students will carry with them for years to come.
Livestock judging is about more than placing a class โ itโs about developing critical thinking, communication, confidence, decision-making, and leadership skills that will serve our members in their future careers and beyond.
We are proud to see our members LEARN. LEAD. GROW. ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐
๐๐ Great job, FFA! Keep putting in the work!
