The Saturday, May 16th quilt guild class will be taught by Libbie. Classes are at the First Baptist Church in Centerville at 10:00 a.m.

How to Make an "Echo Block" for Quilts of Valor (QOV):

Bring your machine and basic sewing supplies, along with a square up ruler for a 10" finished block. We will be making the Quilt of Valor Block of the year. We will have the fabric pre-cut so you will be able to sit down and sew.The blocks you make will go into a Quilt of Valor for our veterans.

If anyone has questions you can reach us on here, on Messenger or you can call me: Sandra Clark, 254-709-7007. You can just stop by here and tell us how we're doing.

Our April class is scheduled for Saturday, April 18th at 10:00 in the First Baptist Church of Centerville and will be taught by Libbie.

Dinner Plate Cozy - Bring 2 coordinating or matching fat quarters, and make yourself a dinner plate cozy. This is something that can be made in a short amount of time. If you have wrap n zap cotton batting, bring 2 - 13" squares of it. Plain cotton batting will do as well. I will have some cotton batting to hand out but if you have those sized scraps, please bring with you. Basic sewing notions and machine are needed, a disappearing fabric marker, or chalk pen, 100% cotton thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler and chopstick. If we have time we will make some for Quilts of Valor.
