• Mr. Owen Thompson, U.S. Army
• Mr. Robert Hoover, U.S. Army

We honor their service to our country and ensure it is remembered. We welcome the community to join us in paying tribute, showing respect, and expressing gratitude to these three Veterans as they receive the recognition they deserve.

In case you haven’t heard, veterans now have expanded discounts at TN State Parks.

Big News for Tennessee Veterans!

Tennessee State Parks has expanded its Veterans Discount Program to further honor the service and sacrifice of our Veterans.

Starting Veterans Day (Nov. 11, 2025), Tennessee resident Veterans will receive:

- Up to 50% off camping & cabins
- 25% off lodge rooms
- 20% off golf green fees
- 15% off gift & golf shop purchases

These new benefits match those offered to state employees and active-duty military, and importantly, no existing benefits are being removed.

This is a meaningful step toward making our parks more accessible and welcoming for those who served.
