Rebel-rousers are a great way to know you're hearing from the Spirit of God in a matter.
Example: the Lord has revealed to me who is supposed to be Mayor in a particular county. Because the devil is allowed to test the Word of the Lord, I have been waiting for an attack to occur against that candidate. It appeared yesterday.
A rebel-rouser reared their nasty little head with an accusation against the one the Lord says is His choice. Perfect timing devil.
This rebel-rouser is being skillfully used by Satan to stir up trouble where none exists. But praise be to God; His remnant prophets and intercessors can nip it in the bud with glorious decrees from God's Holy Word.
You see folks, the Word of the Lord WILL BE TESTED. There's no getting around this...we see this played out in scripture. The devil sends rebel-rousers, antagonists, and other ungodly sorts to buffet and attack the plans and people of God. The devil is looking to interfere with and destroy the will of the Lord. That's his job; but that doesn't mean he is entitled to victory. No. This is where we bind the devil, strip him of his influence, and send angels to minister the will of God in a matter.
This is also the time to PRAISE GOD for His Word and to rest in His will for a situation.
When I observe a prophetic word coming under attack or an individual sent by Satan to scrutinize another without cause, I rejoice. I KNOW breakthrough is here and the Word of the LORD will stand in the midst of demonic interference. I trust God to accomplish the Word He speaks through His people.
Let God be God and every man a liar.
