Since 2016, Veggie Vouchers has helped more than 6,000 families purchase over $140,000 in locally grown fruits and vegetables, while strengthening local farms
and improving community health. 🥬

As the program celebrates its tenth season, we invite the community to help sustain and expand Veggie Vouchers for the next decade. Your gift will help participants receive vouchers, which can be used directly with local farmers at area markets — building new shopping habits, supporting small businesses and keeping food dollars in the local economy.

This Monday’s Love a Donor event in Maucker Union brought students together to write handwritten thank-you notes to LPGG donors, sharing appreciation for their generous support of UNI students and programs. A simple message, written with gratitude, that highlights the real impact of giving across our campus community.

Thank you 💜 💛

Thanks to your support, we marked a record-setting day of giving as 2,174 donors came together for Live Purple Give Gold. Collectively, donors contributed $794,948 to 139 funds that benefit the people, programs and places that define life at UNI.

During the day, nearly 1,000 alumni made gifts, along with 169 students and more than 300 faculty and staff members. Alumni from the class of 2025 led the way with 32 gifts!
