Meet the ArtsMarket Southeast 2026 Keynote speaker Aubrey Bergauer! ✨

Aubrey Bergauer is a visionary leader known for revolutionizing the classical music landscape through innovative, results-driven strategies. Dubbed “the Steve Jobs of classical music” (Observer), Aubrey has championed a customer-centric, data-informed approach that has transformed performing arts organizations.

She’s held offstage roles at esteemed institutions, was chief executive of the California Symphony, and is Founder and CEO of Changing the Narrative, where she’s worked with hundreds of arts organizations with budgets ranging from startups to $300 million, helping them build audiences, increase revenue, and elevate their impact.

Her groundbreaking work has been featured in national publications, and her debut book, Run It Like A Business, published in 2024.

Hot Strings and Cool Breezes brings together some of the best artists in Americana and bluegrass music. Headlining the event are Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, two legendary bluegrass fiddlers whose critically acclaimed collaboration, Carter & Cleveland, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album, adding to their already impressive lists of Grammy Awards and nominations. Joining them are Josh Martin, a renowned songwriter and guitarist in the bluegrass genre, and Jenee Fleenor, a five-time CMA Musician of the Year, both of The Wood Box Heroes; Becky Buller, a 10-time IBMA Award winner and Grammy-winning songwriter; and Ned Luberecki, IBMA Banjo Player of the Year and host of SiriusXM's Bluegrass Junction.
