The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation invites you for an early morning beginner birding walk in Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space. In partnership with Town of Castle Rock, we are offering a special guided hike in search of grassland and forest birds. This 1.7-mile hike will be on the brand-new Willow Creek and Bootlegger trails, as they travel through a riparian area and mature forest on the shaded north slope. Come see what the excitement is all about! Link in comments.

This special event is offered free of charge, but a $20 donation per person is suggested so that we may offer more programs to our community at Lost Canyon.

May 30th, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Please bring your own binoculars. Recommended for beginners ages 8 years and older. Space is limited.

NOTE: There is currently no public access to Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space. Entry is only available with an authorized guide.
