I’m going to continue announcement’s for Vella’s babies! These pictures were taken early in the week before they got sick, eyes are open now. For those newer here, I name through the alphabet with my pregnant moms and use themes with the families that arrive. So this little family is on letter V which is my FOURTH time around!!

So far I have announced baby boy in an orange collar, Vince!! Next up is this baby with a pink collar and it’s a ………………………… 🩷🩷🩷 GIRL!!! 🩷🩷🩷

Vella’s babies have also become sick with Coccidia. It’s been an incredibly hard week for me, really nearly a month now that I have been fighting to keep Tessa’s babies alive. But when they got sick as well…..I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I’m exhausted. I’m beyond anxious, and I just desperately want everyone better. I am SO thankful that the V babies seem to be responding well to their meds. Today will be the last of 5 days of treatment. The bad part is that Vella doesn’t seem to want to feed them any more. She’s getting the meds and sub q fluids as well. I’m feeding the babies and it’s just been so much. Rescue is definitely not always rainbows and butterflies, and this is one of the hardest times I’ve been through in the past 7.5 years of rescue. These pictures are of right before they got sick. Happily nursing away.

Your kindness and prayers mean so much. Thank you for being such a big support to me. 💓

I’m SO happy to announce that Mama Skyler and her baby boy Shane, have been adopted together!! They will have another kitty sibling as well as some older human siblings. I love when my mamas find their forever homes, it’s my favorite adoption!!

Now just Sofie and Sawyer are left needing their forever homes!! Hopefully their new family contacts me soon!!💓

This litter is so unique in that there are 2 mama kitties that are also Mom and daughter!! Marlena and Sami (both are torties), are such sweet and loving kitties!! Mom and daughter will need to be adopted together and whoever adopts them will be so lucky to bring these tortie girls into their family! These sweet babies turned 3 weeks old yesterday! Their diarrhea has raged up again and I’ve been battling this with them for their entire 3 weeks. I’m supplementing all of them, giving meds, cleaning them up every feeding, constantly changing blankets and playpen pads…..I really need them to turn a corner soon. This has been an awful case of Coccidia and they are constantly reinfecting themselves. I haven’t even been able to name them because their back ends are so swollen and what’s normally easy for me to tell at birth, has been extra difficult. Little green weighs just over 5 ounces which is SO tiny for 3 weeks. But they keep fighting along with me so I’ll keep fighting for them and with them. Prayers are SO appreciated for complete health!!💓💓💓
