🐾 Meet Lucy — Looking for the Love She’s Always Deserved! 🐾

Lucy came to Dog Rescue Ranch as part of a group of dogs from a breeder who has been experiencing difficulties over the past five months. We’ve been taking in these dogs, getting them the veterinary care they need, and helping them find loving forever homes. ❤️

Lucy is a purebred Labrador Retriever with AKC papers. She is a very sweet girl who has spent her life as part of a breeding program, but sadly, she hasn’t experienced the love and attention every dog deserves. 💔

Lucy will be spayed, brought up to date on her rabies vaccination, and microchipped before adoption.

She has so much love to give. All she needs is someone willing to give her the chance to experience life as a beloved family member rather than just a breeding dog. 🐶💕

Can you help Lucy find her happily ever after? Please share her story and help us find the loving home she deserves.

Breed: Labrador retriever
Age: 1 years, 7 months
Color: Brown
S*x: Female
Weight: 50 lbs

Nova and Snow headed out this morning for a little SPAY DAY! 💕🐶

These two have just had their spay surgeries done and are headed back to the ranch. This is an important step toward a healthier future!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helps make these trips possible. Volunteers, veterinary care and all the behind the scenes support and donations that make a difference in the lives of our rescue dogs!

Glad you’re back on your paws Nova and Snow! We are wishing you a speedy recovery! 🐾💕

🐾 𝑨 𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑻𝑳𝑬 𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀 𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑪𝑲 𝑨𝑩𝑶𝑼𝑻 𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑨𝒀 𝑫𝑶𝑮𝑺

When you ask someone to trap a stray dog, please understand that the trapper doesn’t get paid for catching that dog, and the rescue willing to take the dog in doesn’t receive money for accepting it either.

Food, vet care, vaccinations, and shelter all cost money, and these expenses fall on rescues that are already stretched thin. ❤️

At Dog Rescue Ranch, we still have a handful of dogs who were trapped and brought to safety but are STILL waiting for their forever homes. They deserve a chance, too!

Rescue is a labor of love, not a paycheck. So before asking someone to trap a dog, remember that saving the dog is just the beginning. The real work and expense continue until that dog finds a loving home.

National Adopt a Dog Month (also known as Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month) is observed every October to raise awareness about homeless dogs and encourage people to adopt pets from local animal shelters and rescue groups.

🙏 Please support your local rescuers, consider fostering, and adopt when you can. Every dog deserves a chance, and we can’t do it alone!

🐾❤️ 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑨𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐! 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑰𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝒃𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕! ❤️🐾

Apollo and his sister Cleo were found abandoned down the canal by the ranch. Thankfully, Dog Rescue Ranch found them and they are now safe and waiting for their second chance!

Apollo is a big sweetheart who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He does like to protect his chew toys and treats around his canine friends, so a little management during treat time is important. Otherwise, this boy is as amazing as they come! 😍

Bonus points! ✅ Apollo is leash trained and house trained to use a dog door!

Now this handsome guy just needs a family to love him forever. Could you be the one to give Apollo the happy ending he deserves?

Breed: Cane corso
Age: 1 year 2 months
Color: Brindle

Weight: 60 lbs

🐾 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉-𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒐𝒈𝒔 𝒂 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆! ❤️🐶

As usual, our amazing Dog Rescue Ranch volunteers, Tena and John, were hard at work taking care of our four-legged residents! ❤️

💦 Watering the dogs
🧹 Cleaning up after the dogs
🐕 Spending quality time playing with our furry friends
🔨 And, of course, building yet ANOTHER enclosure! Because apparently, we can never have too many dogs needing a second chance! 😂🐾

But we have some GOOD NEWS to share! 🎉 Our shipping container kennels are DONE! And a couple of lucky residents have already moved into their new homes away from home! This is a huge step forward for Dog Rescue Ranch as we continue working to improve our facilities and provide a safer, more comfortable environment for our dogs.

A huge THANK YOU to Tena and John and all our volunteers who show up, roll up their sleeves, and do whatever needs to be done. Rescue work isn’t always glamorous, but every bucket of water, every cleaned kennel, every enclosure built, and every belly rubbed makes a difference! ❤️

At Dog Rescue Ranch, Saturdays mean hard work, wagging tails, and one more step toward giving our dogs the lives they deserve.
