Hearing Hunger statistics, it could be just numbers to some, but to us here at Shane Gives Thanks, its a reality. There are too many families in our community that go without. And Shane Gives Thanks, Inc wants to change that! With the help of family and new friends we hope to do so! Shane Gives Thanks Inc was started in 2014 by then 7 year old Shane who was on a mission, No one should go without.
Shane started asking friends and families to donate for thanksgiving boxes, To date he has been able to donate over 2000 Thanksgiving boxes to local families
But 2016 brought even more eye opening facts, students at our schools sometimes go without on the weekends. This saddened us here at SGT. With his mission of No one should go without, SGT came up with Peyton Packs. The Peyton Pack Program would run at his local school from grade K-5 providing a pack food of items that would sustain the student for the weekend. Shane Gives Thanks Operates as a Food Pantry to the residents of Carver and surrounding towns. Shane Gives Thanks Inc is a 501(c)3 non profit organization!
