Edaville Rail Run

I am so so sorry to say that after 20 years, this race will no longer be. It was a very difficult decision, and we will miss seeing you this and each November.

I want to thank all of you who ran/walked the race over the years, the families who supported the runners/walkers, Edaville for hosting us, our many sponsors, and my family who supported all of us. Also, Joe Cohen, who put his heart into the race from the beginning.

I was hoping for the race to last 5 years and we made it to 20! Crazy!! A huge milestone and still my heart is very sad. I have loved the venue, the people participating, and honoring our sister.

I will miss everything about the race - including you.

Thank you SO much for your support and for loving this mighty train run as much as I have.

Please keep running and supporting other races with a cause. 💜

Only 2 days left until the final increase on registration!! You not only don’t want to miss this wonderful course but also a special performance of the Highland Scottish Pipe Band!! This race will be one for the books :) Click the "Sign Up" link on our page and RSVP to the event as well so that your friends can see and join you!!

Less than 3 weeks until race day!!! Here is some helpful info:

The first 300 registered runners are guaranteed this year’s shirt, on a first come first serve basis. If you miss out on a shirt from this year in your size, you may choose a shirt from a previous year. Just show your race number!

Previous years tee shirts will also be for sale for $5.00, available to everyone!

Registered runners only may purchase 1/2 price tickets to Edaville USA!

Some additional details: strollers/wagons are allowed on the 2 mile course only. The 5 mile course is a run. For a small fee, non-registered attendants may enjoy the food at our post-race festivities.

On, October 26th, the registration fee goes up to $35.00! So.... register now!! We hope you can join us for the 20th year!!!

The 29th Rail Run is November 2nd - register now to be guaranteed a tee shirt!! Registration fee goes up at the end of October! You don’t want to miss it... this is our 20th year! Plus, all proceeds go to the youth of Carver and surrounding communities. We hope you join us!

Donna Nolan here - Race Director. I can’t thank the volunteers enough for not bowing out today because of the horrible weather. Your help was greatly needed and appreciated.

Also, the runners and walkers. I want to apologize again for the mess up on the 2 mile course. The workers picking the cranberries moved our cones not realizing what they were doing. I’m so glad you talked with me and explained what happened. I also greatly appreciate your kindness after experiencing something lousy and nerve wracking.

All of you who came and run or walked in the conditions today shows your runners/walkers spirit and your compassion to our cause - giving back to the youth of Carver.

Next year is our 20th year and we are planning already! Save the date, pass the on what great food we serve with a smile(😊) and how you can see cranberry picking!!

The race is on tomorrow inspire of the rain. I know there are die hard as out there looking for a challenge! Be one of those. Your support benefits the youth of Carver. We greatly appreciate it! AND great food and awards after!!
