✨💜 Coyote Donations in Action! 💙✨

Today, we’re featuring Mrs. Hayes' 1st grade class! 🎉

Thanks to the support from our fall fundraiser, Mrs. Hayes was able to purchase several exciting classroom additions to support student learning, creativity, and engagement. 📚✨

Her classroom received a class set of student offices to encourage focus during independent work time, new class prizes including sporty and neon water bottle stickers, upgraded art supplies with new markers and paint markers, and cozy new cushions for students to use during independent reading time. 🎨📖✨

One of the biggest student favorites has been the new reading cushions! These special seats are awarded by the classroom’s "Tiny Teacher" to students demonstrating the behaviors of successful readers during independent reading time. Not only are the cushions fun, but they also motivate students to stay focused, build strong reading habits, and continue growing as independent readers. 💙🐾

The new art supplies have already been used for creative classroom projects, while the student offices and prizes help encourage focus, effort, and positive classroom participation. Together, these additions are creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. 🌟

Thank you again to our amazing Carver community for supporting our fundraiser and helping make these meaningful classroom experiences possible! 💜

✨ Meet Your 2026–2027 Carver Elementary PTO Board & Lead Team! ✨

📚 It's Yearbook Day at Carver, so we thought it was the perfect time to introduce your 2026–2027 PTO Board & Lead Team! 💜📸

We are excited to officially introduce the incredible group of parents who will be serving our Carver Elementary PTO community this upcoming school year!

As one school year comes to a close, our work for next year is already beginning. This summer will be filled with planning sessions, brainstorming, and preparing for another year of supporting our students, staff, and families.

We’re grateful for the strong foundation built by past PTO leaders and are excited to build on the momentum and success of this year. As we look ahead, one of our biggest goals is to strengthen connections between parents, our school, and the greater community while continuing to support our incredible teachers and staff; creating opportunities for everyone to feel welcomed, involved, and engaged.

From family events and staff appreciation to fundraising and volunteer opportunities, we have lots of exciting ideas in store! Stay tuned throughout the summer as we begin sharing plans, opportunities to get involved, and a few surprises along the way.

We can't wait to make the 2026–2027 school year one to remember!

This week, we’re featuring Mrs. Literski’s 1st grade class! 🎉

Thanks to the support from our fall fundraiser, Mrs. Literski was able to purchase new books for independent reading, educational games that encourage play and turn taking, and organizational materials like new book bins to help keep classroom resources organized and accessible for students. 📚🎲✨

The first graders have absolutely loved the new books and games added to their classroom! The fresh book selections are helping keep students engaged and excited during independent reading time, while the educational games provide fun opportunities for students to learn, collaborate, practice social skills, and play together with friends. 💙🐾

These thoughtful additions are creating even more opportunities for students to strengthen their reading skills while building a fun, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. This week, we’re featuring Mrs. Thomas’s 2nd grade class! 🎉

Thanks to the support from our fall fundraiser, Mrs. Thomas was able to purchase a variety of classroom items to help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for her students. 📚✨

Her classroom received popular book series including Babysitters Club, I Survived, and Dogman, along with replacement book bins, comfortable floor seating, Play-Doh, lights and ceiling hooks, and picture frames for special end-of-year student gifts. 📖🪑✨

Many of these book titles were specifically requested by students, helping encourage excitement around reading and giving students more opportunities to explore books they are excited about. The replacement book bins also helped organize and refresh the classroom library after many of the original bins had become broken over time. 💙📚

The comfortable seating and classroom lighting are helping create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning, reading, and spending time together each day. Mrs. Thomas also plans to use the picture frames as meaningful end-of-year gifts for each student to celebrate all of their hard work and memories from the school year. 🫶✨

Thank you again to our amazing Carver community for supporting our fundraiser and helping make these thoughtful classroom experiences possible for students! 💜

This week, we’re featuring Mrs. Senden’s 3rd grade class! 🎉

Thanks to the support from our fall fundraiser, Mrs. Senden was able to purchase a variety of classroom supplies, games, learning tools, and books that are helping make learning more engaging and fun for her students. 📚✨

Her classroom received a class set of Play-Doh, markers, sewing needles for a special Valentine project, a Kanoodle game, World and U.S. maps, a new pencil sharpener, whiteboard erasers, Expo markers, Humza word games, Lite-Brite Touch sensory games, and several books from the Bat series by Elana K. Arnold after students fell in love with the first book already included in their reading curriculum. 🗺️🎲📖✨

These thoughtful additions are helping support creativity, hands-on learning, problem solving, reading engagement, and classroom collaboration. The sensory games and classroom tools help students stay engaged and supported throughout the day, while the expanded Bat book series has encouraged excitement and enthusiasm around reading and independent book exploration. 💙🐾

Mrs. Senden is continuing to thoughtfully use every dollar to help create a classroom environment where students can learn, create, explore, and have fun together every day. Thank you again to our amazing Carver community for making these meaningful classroom experiences possible! 💜

Today was our last “Dancing for Donuts” of the school year and we had the BEST helper joining the PTO fun 💜🍩🎶

We had a very special Honorary PTO member today! She recently wrote a persuasive essay about wanting to be on the PTO when she’s older… and honestly, how could we say no to that kind of persuasion?! Today she helped bring the dancing, laughter, joy, and fun to students during one of our favorite Carver traditions.

She also took her very important role seriously — making sure the donuts only made it to the teachers 😉🍩

A special thank you to Mrs Sara for starting this meaningful tradition at Carver, and to the Spirit Squad (our amazing committee of teachers and staff) for helping make it such a fun and memorable experience throughout their very first year bringing fun themes to Carver each month ❤️

We love seeing students excited about building community, spreading joy, and being part of what makes Carver so special. 🐾

Today was such a special Carver tradition 💜🐾

Our halls were filled with cheers, smiles, high-fives, and even a few “6-7s” as former Carver Coyotes made one final walk through the school before graduating high school! These seniors once walked these same halls as 4th and 5th graders at Carver Elementary — and today our current students got to celebrate just how far they’ve come.

Congratulations to our Carver Coyote seniors! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead. Once a Coyote, always a Coyote! 🎓✨

One of our favorite Carver traditions is officially in the books — All School Track & Field Day! 🏃‍♂️💜🐾

This special school-run event is something students look forward to every single year, and so many staff members help make it such a success. A huge shoutout to our amazing Phy Ed teachers for all the preparation, teaching, and organization that goes into the day, along with all of the teacher specialists who help everything run smoothly.

A very special recognition goes to our 5th grade helpers who led stations throughout the event! These students were chosen because they consistently show leadership, kindness, responsibility, and amazing behavior across all specialist classes. They did such a great job encouraging and helping younger students all day long! 👏

And while it may have been a cooler day outside, the students still LOVED ending the event with popsicles purchased through PTO funds! 🍧 Thank you to everyone who helped make another great Track & Field Day memory for our students.
