Chaske Cikala Wacipi (Little Dance in Chaska, Pow wow) The Chaske Cikala Wacipi is a traditional PowWow and was organized with the whole community in mind to serve as a place for everyone to gather. Mitakuye Oyasin.

A community where understanding, acceptance and brother/sisterhood is the way. Established in 2009, celebrated the 3rd weekend in August, the annual Chaske Cikala Wacipi is held each year at McKnight Park, in Jonathan (Chaska Minnesota). It's an inclusive, peaceable celebration. All are welcome. This year we'll be honoring the 38 Dakota Warriors of 1862 who lost their lives defending our people an

d way of life. Our first PowWow was held informally at River City Days in Chaska MN. We found there was a need for traditional Wacipi and so with the support of friends, family, the city, several organizations and you, we were able to introduce our official 1st annual Little Dance in Chaska just a year later. Now on our 4th year, 3rd official, we are here to once again celebrate our traditions, culture and way of life. Please join us! "Often held over a weekend, a Powwow is filled with songs and dances, singers with drums, and dancers in their regalia. Regalia (pronounced Re gail ya) is the proper term used to describe the highly decorated clothing worn by the powwow dancers. A Wacipi or Powwow is the celebration of life... of family... and the offering of honor and respect for dignitaries, royalty, our culture, and of native people."

I'm not sure if this is going to work, but I've decided to try and grow some of the to***co over the winter time and I've already manufactured or got ready of the to***co for this year. I'm using the red willow that I got last winter and these are going to be red, Russian to***co and Tennessee gold and red willow yellow willow choke cherries mulberry plants choke cherry bark . All of the to***co that I grow is grow free of bug spray. Anything that is unnatural in the human way and for fertilizer I use fish emulsion from Alaska. That is the only thing that is used and is used for fertilizer. I hope that it's going to turn out well. They're growing pretty good now, but we'll have to just wait and see. Thank you. One more done. This is getting to be really fun. I love going to all the thrift stores and finding the real cheap stuff and then get her down and make some bed throws music for a lot of things you want to use it for decoration, what not. I don't know what we're going to do with this one but I just wanted to show everyone that fonzi and I got one more done and remember folks walking the light and the love of the creator.
