📣 Back-to-School PTO Meeting!

Join us on September 8th from 5:30–6:30 PM in the Media Center for a special back-to-school meeting including an update with Principal Velure on how the first few days of school are going! We’ll share important information about what’s ahead and upcoming events for our school community. 🍎📚

Even if you don’t currently have the capacity to volunteer, attending PTO meetings and signing up for Friends of the PTO is a great way to stay connected, ask questions, provide feedback, and support our school community in a way that works for you. 💙

📚✨ First Day Reminders! ✨📚

We’re getting excited to welcome all of our K–5 students back for a fantastic school year! Here are a few important reminders for the first day:

📅 First Day of School: Wednesday, September 2
🚌 Bus Information: Now available in the Parent Portal
⏰ School Starts: 9:30 AM
🚪 Building Entry: Students may enter at 9:15 AM and wait in the front hallway. At 9:20 AM, students will be dismissed to their classrooms.
🏫 Dismissal: 4:00 PM

A reminder about morning arrival:
Please do not drop students off early to play or wait around the bus loop. While we know some students arrived around 8:30 last year, there is no adult supervision in the bus loop until 9:20 AM. For student safety, please plan arrival accordingly.

If early arrivals become a concern, the school may need to contact families directly. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and ensuring a smooth start to the school day! 💙
