We’re teaming up with some amazing student organizations across UWG this month to bring you three events exploring identity, inclusion, representation, and the many experiences that make up our q***r community!
🪶 Nov. 9 | Q***r Indigeneity
In collaboration with UWG Anthropology Club UWG Anthropology UWG Anthropology Club , we’re exploring Indigenous and non-Western perspectives on gender and sexuality, Two-Spirit identities, and q***r Indigenous experiences in recognition of Native American Heritage Month!

We’re joining forces with Disability Inclusion Advocates (DIA) Disability Inclusion Advocates of UWG to explore the intersections of q***r identity, disability, and neurodivergence, and how we can make our spaces more accessible and welcoming to everyone!
🎬 Nov. 17 | Q***r Characters Night
Calling all bookworms, film buffs, gamers, theater kids, and fandom enthusiasts! We’re partnering with UWG English Club (We are the UWG English Club ),LURE (LURe Journal ), Creative Writing Club (UWG Creative Writing Club ✏️🐾💜 ), Filmmakers Collective, and Alpha Psi Omega (UWG Theatre Alpha Psi Omega ) for a night celebrating (and debating 👀) our favorite LGBTQ+ characters across all kinds of media!
