Historical Aircraft Squadron The Historical Aircraft Squadron, is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, display and operation of former military aircraft.

The Historical Aircraft Squadron, Inc. is an all- volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, display and operation of former military aircraft and related equipment in our hangar/ museum located at the Fairfield County Airport. The squadron was formed in 1994 by a small group of individuals who shared this common interest. Membership has grown and we currently have members re

presenting a wide variety of ages, interests, talents and volunteer skills. Members and visitors are encouraged to participate in activities and events as well as to just stop by to "hang around" and enjoy the atmosphere of the aircraft and museum displays. We are a work in progress so there is always something new to experience.

The Historical Aircraft Squadron is headed back to the Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro✈️🇺🇸

🚨 The Historical Aircraft Squadron is Returning to the Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro 🚨

We’re excited to announce that the Historical Aircraft Squadron will once again be part of the incredible ✈️ Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro — and this year’s event is shaping up to be the best yet!

Join us June 19–21, 2026 at Rickenbacker International Airport for an action-packed weekend celebrating aviation, military history, and America 250! 🇺🇸

This year’s show will feature:
✈️ The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
✈️ Canadian Forces Snowbirds
✈️ USAF F-35A Demo Team
🎆 NEW Twilight Pyrotechnics & Fireworks Shows on Friday and Saturday evening
🛩️ Ground displays, interactive exhibits, STEM experiences, food, shopping, and family fun throughout the weekend.

The Historical Aircraft Squadron will once again be bringing historic aircraft, military vehicles, and displays highlighting the legacy of aviation and those who served. Be sure to stop by, meet our volunteers, and experience history up close!
