Did you know? 🌱 Plants can respond to sounds and vibrations in the world around them. Nature is full of surprises, and there’s so much for curious minds to discover.

At AHA, children can explore the wonders of nature through hands-on play in our Nature Playscape and garden area (open 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays). From digging in the dirt to discovering how plants grow, every outdoor adventure is a chance to learn something new.

We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.☀️🪴

We're excited to join the Lancaster Farmers Market for their first Summer Kids' Day! 🌱Stop by the farmers market from 8:30 a.m. to noon and enjoy a variety of free activities designed just for kids. Be sure to visit our table, where little ones can learn about different seed varieties and create their very own seed owl to take home.

We can't wait to see you Saturday!🦉✨

Our first summer Kids' Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market is THIS Saturday, and there will be so much to do! Bring the whole family and get ready for a morning full of fun and great local food.

Kids Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market - June 13th

• 10:30am for Mini Yoga Adventures with Explore Me A Story - Mindful Nature Preschool (ages 5 and under)

Duck, duck… Jeep! 🦆🚙

We’re teaming up with Bob-Boyd Auto Family from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 20, 2026, for a quack-tastic adventure at AHA!

Get ready to search for pint-sized rubber ducks hidden throughout the museum, snap photos with oversized ducks and our Jeep-themed photo booth, and race ducks down our splash-worthy duck race water slide! 💦🧸

It’s part play, part adventure, and all kinds of fun for the whole family. Mark your calendars and come join the fun! General admission or membership required.
