We received an email today stating that our next EAA Ray Aviation scholar was approved!

We will let that scholar know this weekend.

This calls for some cake!

We are tracking gusty crosswind for the Young Eagles Rally tomorrow morning.
We may be able to get a few flown first thing if our pilots make it to the event. We will check in on the weather first thing in the morning and make a decision to move forward or cancel. **If your flight is closer to noon, it isn't looking good for those flights later in the morning.

Registration is open for our first Young Eagles Rally of 2026. It is planned for March 7th from 9am until noon - weather permitting.

So far it is looking like a possibility of rain and higher winds but we are still a little more than a week out. We will be monitoring the weather this week and we will reach out to those registered for the event if anything needs to change.

Thanks everyone! We are looking forward to a great flying season this year!

Please join us tomorrow evening at 6pm for the EAA 443 February Gathering.

This month we will start at 6pm for an IMC or VMC Club discussion any members that would like to attend. There may be a question/answer type of discussion and/or a short video. This will be followed by our usual monthly meeting at 7pm.

We will also be checking in with our Young Eagles pilots and volunteers to get the year started off. (Our 1st Young Eagles Rally is scheduled for March 7th 2026.)

Our January meeting will be tomorrow, Monday January 19th at 6pm for an IMC/VMC Club discussion that will be followed by our regular meeting at 7pm.

Please join us as we also will be celebrating a few exciting milestones for our EAA Ray Aviation Scholars. (We will have some cupcakes or brownies to share with everyone!)

Our EAA Ray Aviation Scholar Colton passed his private pilot written test today.
If you see him around congratulate him on getting that taken care of!

Scholarship Updates:
Today we were able to present our scholar Ben with the Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset that he earned as part of the EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship.
Ben is checkride ready! If we can get the weather and schedules to match up he should have this done any day now!
Great job so far Ben!

Our scholar Colton looks to be written test ready, those practice tests get better and better every time he takes one. We just need to get that test scheduled and out of the way.
Awesome job on the test prep Colton!

Young Eagles for Saturday November 1st 2025 has been canceled due to ground and pilot volunteer availability.
We do not have an event planned for December.
