I am the oldest of three siblings. I have lived in Carpinteria my entire life, and now I am proud to be approaching my high school graduation. Growing up in this community has taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and staying committed to my goals. As I look ahead to the next chapter, I am entering a construction apprenticeship to become a carpenter and continue developing my skills and building a strong foundation for my future career.
2. Isaac Relis
I am a Carpinteria High School student graduating in 2026. I have been actively involved in the Engineering and Manufacturing CTE Pathway, where I developed a strong interest in design, production, and handson problemsolving. After graduation, I plan to continue building my skills through an apprenticeship in manufacturing or by attending a trade school focused on product development and advanced technical training.
3. Jesus Haro
My name is Jesus Haro. During my freshman year, I took Ag Biology, which introduced me to FFA—a program that quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of my high school experience. Through FFA, I have raised three show lambs and one show steer for the Ventura County Fair. Joining this organization truly made my time in high school richer and more memorable. It allowed me to meet students from other schools, build friendships, and compete in public speaking events that helped me grow.
In addition to FFA, I participated in band during my freshman year, where I played the saxophone. I also gained some early automotive experience through the Agriculture program at Carpinteria High School, which sparked my interest in pursuing the field further. After graduation, I plan to attend SBCC to study Automotive Technology, with the goal of eventually starting my own business.
